Each year the Pantone Color Institute releases their color of the year. This inspires so many things - fashion, decor, florals, stationary, clothing, paint - so many things!
Pantone released their color of the year: greenery. When I first heard that the color of 2017 was greenery, I pictured a deep greenish blue hue, similar to boxwood. However, I was mistaken. It's more of a yellowish green! As pantone puts it:
"Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow - green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature's greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath and reinvigorate."
